Ways to Support the Band

Thank you for your interest in supporting the band.  We are a 501c-3 entity under the LVFD Association. Upon request, we can/will provide receipts for your tax deductible donations.  All donations are used to help pay for direct costs of running the band: supplies, instruction, and (sometimes) travel costs.

Make a Donation

Non-financial ways to support the band.  

A community pipe band isn't all about money.  It's also about increasing public awareness about what we do.  Other ways to help the band include: 

1) Sharing the band's website and social  media contacts with others, 

2) donating your time/help for band events, and 

3) helping the band spread the word about our youth training program to our local schools.  For example, we'd love to see our youth band members get credit for music class for participating in the band.

SPONSOR A BEGINNER DRUMMER:

The pipe band has the ability to provide in-house instruction for pipers of all levels.  However, we do not have the in-house expertise to teach new drummers. The only way the band can "grow" competent new snare and tenor drummers is by paying for professional instruction via online lessons (and in-person workshops).
